    Clagett Management is an independent contractor who provides administrative and logistical support to the Directors serving on the homeowners association board, as well as to the homeowners living in the community. They assist with tasks such as collection of the annual homeowner's assessments, invoice payments, meeting facilitation, preparation of the budget, newsletters, pool passes, covenant monitoring, liaison between the board and attorneys, vendors and the community.  The Waterside Community Manager is Jay Hartley.

  • chevron_rightCommunity Bulletin Board
    The Waterside Community has a bulletin board on the corner of River Run and Riverside Place by the pool parking lot.  This board serves as a way to catch up on current issues and activities on a monthly basis. Most of the information comes from the monthly board meetings or newsletter.  As always if you know of some important information that the community needs to know, please contact our community manager at Clagett Management
  • chevron_rightCommunity Yard Sales
    The development has an annual Spring and Fall yard sales. The yard
    sale dates for the community yard sales are usually in May and August.
    The yard sale is usually held on a Friday and Saturday (rain date Sunday)
    from 8:00 am-1:00 pm. These dates are decided on at the January
    board meeting and then placed on the community calendar. An ad is
    run in the Frederick News post for the yard sale on Thursday, Friday,
    and Saturday. Community yard sale signs are put up at each entrance
    to Waterside, on Route 26 and on Monocacy Blvd a week before the
    event letting others know of the community’s yard sale. It is suggested
    that individual homes place signs directing people to their street. Signs
    must be taken down the day after the yard sale ends.

  • chevron_rightPolice Patrol
    The Waterside Community is patrolled on different days and different hours by off-duty sheriff deputies that are hired by the association.  The Sheriff’s department patrols our development daily as part of their shifts. If you are aware or concerned about an issue please call the Sheriff’s office as a non-emergency.  For more serious matters please dial 911. If you hear of cars or homes being broken into or any kind of issues, please contact Jay Hartley, at jhartley@clagett.com or 240-651-6676, ext. 1203.
  • chevron_rightStreet Lights
    All street lights are maintained by the Association EXCEPT the poles on River Run, near the single family homes.  To report a light out within the courts, contact Jay Hartley, at jhartley@clagett.com or 240-651-6676, ext. 1203.  Be prepared to mention the closest address to the pole needing service.

  • chevron_rightYard Maintenance
    Grass should not be placed in the street or on the sidewalks either bag your lawn clippings or sweep up the grass on the sidewalks, curbs, and roads. Sweeping up leaves also from sidewalks, curbs, and parking spaces.
Pool
  • chevron_rightAvailability
    The Waterside pool is available to all current homeowners and rental residents and is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.  Outside memberships are available for purchase.
     
    Please note: The first 2 quarters HOA assessments must be paid prior to registering for pool passes.  Passes will be held or membership suspended for outstanding HOA violations.
  • chevron_rightGuest Passes
    NO GUEST PASSES WILL BE SOLD AT THE POOL.
     
    For the 2024 season, five (5) single-day guest passes will be provided to residents upon approval of registration.  Additional single-day guest passes will be sold in sets of five (5) for $25.  ALL guest passes, granted and purchased, expire at the end of each season.  Guest passes DO NOT roll over each year. 
     
    Checks must be made payable to Waterside Community Association and dropped off at Clagett offices, 7540 N Market St, Frederick, MD 21701.

    RSV is the pool management company for the Waterside pool.
  • chevron_rightMINIMUM AGE for Entry
    All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (18 years or older) at all times. Children ages 15 and under must pass the basic swimming test, and have permission card on file, which has been personally delivered by a parent or legal guardian; or be accompanied by a pool member 18 years of age or older.

  • chevron_rightOutside memberships
    Outside memberships will be offered for the 2024 season.  The fee is $500 per family (up to 7 patrons).  Each additional family member is $50.
     
    Submit your application online when registration is activated in April 2024.

  • chevron_rightPool Passes
    Please allow at least 5 business days to process your request.  
    Pool passes will be issued as "Adult" or "Child" (17 and under).  Each family may request up to 7 total. 
     
    You will be required to bring the pass to the pool during each visit.

Trash / Recycle

    There is no recycling collection on the following holidays:
    • Memorial Day
    • Independence Day
    • Labor Day
    • Thanksgiving
    • Christmas

    If your collection day falls on one of these holidays, or if your recycling pickup is canceled due to inclement weather, your collection will shift one day later than usual.

    Christmas Tree Pickup will be 1/13 and 1/20. 
  • chevron_rightBulk Trash
    The community has a bulk trash pickup for homes twice a year. It is usually the Thursday following the neighborhood yard sale. Please refer to the Community Calendar for current information.  Residents may set out bulk trash items after 5:00 pm, the evening before pickup.  
     
    Tires, paint, and "White Goods" are not accepted and will not be picked up. White Goods include refrigerators, ranges, water heaters, freezers, unit/window air conditioners, washing machines, clothes dryers, and other similar domestic and commercial large appliances.  These items can be recycled and are disposed of differently than bulk trash.  If you require a private white good or bulk item pickup outside of this schedule, you can call J & J Waste Services 301-898-2109 and get a quote.
     
    Please only put bulk items out during the specified dates.  If violations of bulk trash occur, assessments will be given to the violator(s).
